2013 Louisiana Collegiate Wake Tour Stop #1 + USA Regional Qualifier
Well ladies and gents…. school is upon us. Classes start across the region over the next 3 weeks. that means tests, homework, and stress… but don’t panic friends! Summer isn’t over yet and the LCWT is here to prove it for yall! Keep the boards, bikinis, and boats out cause the 2013-2014 collegiate wake season is starting September 14th in SHREVEPORT, LA at Cypress Black Bayou Park & Recreation Area! This will also be the Southcentral qualifier for USA Wakeboard’s Collegiate Nationals in May!
All college teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi are invited to attend! The format is bring what you got for a beginner, intermediate, advanced, outlaw, womens, and wakeskate divisions. But for the regionals scoring, your top 4 guys, 2 girls, and wakeskater will be rescored against the everyone else’s top riders regardless of division. Registration is Friday night (location TBA) at 9pm.
There are 5 cabins for rent. RV spots, and camping spots with showers and bathrooms. We are currently working on a special price for all riders. There is a 5 dollar fee just to get in the recreation area. But the site runs along a nice beach. Alcohol is allowed on the beach but absolutely NO GLASS BOTTLES.
ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE USA WATERSKI INSURANCE! MEMBERSHIPS WILL BE CHECKED AFTER THE REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
* NEW RULE FOR THIS SEASON *
If you earn a Malibu Pro Card, you are considered a pro rider and are not allowed to enter in a college contest.
Riding will start at 8:30 sharp with the beginner division. There will be a short 30 minute break for lunch at 1pm. Then riding will continue untill dark or we are done. If riding is not completed by dark, we will start at 8:30 again on sunday to finish.
Boat will be a Tige RZ3 or Mastercraft X-25 provided by Campers RV Center of Shreveport. We will ride full stock ballast for all divisions.

FEES
Individual:
$35 – USA Waterski Membership (grassroots) – good for 1 year only has to be paid once a year and includes 25k of additional insurance anytime you ride. Paid on USA Waterski website.
$20 – LCWT Individual entry fee. We now accept cards on site!
Team:
$150 – Team entry fee for all 4 stops of the LCWT and USA Wakeboard Regionals.
